I really don’t think I have to shout how important it is to support the underground lit scene. Who really cares if Patterson has a publishing company which doles out a new book every month for him? We have the underground. We have coffee shops, record stores, laundry mats, and bars. I’ll take all those over a bookstore which only gives a new author six months to sell before putting his books on the 80% off last call rolling bookshelf.

Gestalt and Pepper by Madrea Marie

Gestalt and Pepper Issue 1, out of Old Town, Florida, has a bit of poetry, a few letters between Madrea and friends, lovely drawings, and lots of shade lines (I LOVE THOSE).
