Joe supports local musicians (a rarity these days) by carrying their albums and by allowing space inside his store to promote their upcoming events. Joe has been selling records to me since I was thirteen; that makes him an old pro in the business.

Heidi and Paul host events for local poets, musicians, and artists. Heidi is incredibly active in Urban Seeds, a group which teaches inner city folks how to grow their own produce. Kill Me When I’m Famous is a monthly event held at Penny Lane for poets and others to read their work before an audience.

I’ve known Kristie for years. She makes awesome clothing and does her part in keeping the underground Eville scene alive by promoting new bands and keeping Friday night concerts free for people of all ages. This means young teens and kids get to hear live music like back in ye olden days of my youth.
