was the blonde in Peter Paul and Mary
and she died today

i’m not into folk music
but a good singer is a true and rare artist

and she was a peace activist
who really nailed it to the warmongers
in Washington

i like to think she had something to do
with ending the war in Vietnam

but a pretty voice doesn’t need any
justification

it justifies itself

rest in peace, Mary.
